Political Cat-didate of the Day: Hank, a 9-year-old street cat running against Virginia governors George Allen (R) and Tim Kaine (D) for Sen. Jim Webb’s vacated seat, is not kitten around: The “purr-oud independent” has already set up a Facebook page, a Twitter account, and a website.

If Hank has a political platform I couldn’t care less what it is. He’s a cat running for Senate. What more do you need to know?
