Did you know that the treatment of cat scratch fever in cats is a Z pack (Azithromycin)?

Erebus has likely had it since he was a kitten. A common symptom is redness of the gums that will also cause kitties to loose their teeth. Luckily for Erebus we caught it relatively early since he’s only two and still has all his teeth. Unfortunately for all involved, he will have to take a liquid Z pack once a day for 3 weeks.

Transmission is actually from fleas and not scratches so we don’t have to do anything for the rest of the gang.
